Every highlight film is cut to its own rhythm, but the bones are usually these.
Your introduction open
A line from your vows or a speech, heard before you see a single image. The room goes quiet on its own.
The morning
The house, the dress, the nerves, your father checking his watch. Shot quietly, edited kindly.
The ceremony
The walk, the look back, the vows in your own voices. This is the spine of the film and it gets the time it needs.
The afternoon, woven through
Confetti, the lawn, two hundred conversations. Cut against the best lines from the speeches.
The night
The first dance into the loud part. The film speeds up because the day does.
